The Payroll Administrator will administer Prevailing Wage from start to finish. This includes but is not limited to: calculating manual counters, performing weekly prevailing wage audits, timecard corrections, administering certified payrolls, administering the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) process, administering active contracts, etc. The Payroll Administrator is also responsible for recording and processing the company’s time and attendance through the payroll systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; verifying that transactions comply with company policy, procedure, and state and government regulations. These duties include maintaining employee data, maintaining vacation/sick leave reports, submitting payroll taxes and benefit and 401k reports, payroll general ledger account reconciliation and analysis.
