Job Summary

Reporting to the Team Manager, Payroll, and working with internal and external stakeholders, the Payroll Analyst works independently to perform all tasks related to full cycle payroll processing for all aspects of the Administrative and Support, Academic, Occasional teaching, and Continuing Education biweekly payrolls of approximately 12,000 employees. This includes scheduling and transmitting payroll in accordance with respective Board policies and procedures, Collective Agreements, Employment Standards, and payroll legislation to ensure the payroll is completed accurately and on time. The Analyst provides general supervision and direction of work to the Assistant Payroll Administrators and trains and guides payroll staff, as required.
