About the Opportunity

Payroll Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for unionized and non-unionized staff across multiple legal entities, covering both weekly and bi-weekly pay cycles
  • Compute and validate regular earnings and special payments, including overtime, shift premiums, incentives, retro pay, vacation accruals, and statutory holiday entitlements
  • Implement payroll updates tied to hires, terminations, leaves, role changes, and other employee status changes
  • Balance payroll outputs by reconciling payroll summaries to general ledger accounts
  • Generate and file required payroll documentation and reports, including ROEs, T4s, T4As, and internal payroll analyses
  • Prepare and post monthly payroll-related journal entries
