JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for weekly, biweekly, and semimonthly payroll
  • Enter tax related changes into payroll system i.e. address change, W-4’s etc.…
  • Calculate and process retro pay and other non-recurring payments such as bonuses, reimbursements etc.…
  • Analyze and balance hours between Time and Attendance System and Payroll system.
  • Analyze and interpret garnishments (Federal and State) received from agencies or courts. Provide appropriate response back to agencies and enter necessary deductions in the payroll system.
  • Complete employment verification's for current and past employees.
  • Research and respond to internal and external inquiries including requests for manual checks, questions regarding PTO balances and paychecks etc.…
  • Generate system generated or ad-hoc reports.
  • Perform complex payroll functions (historical edits, balance adjustments, tax adjustments etc......
