Payroll Manager - Marlow - 3 month contract - £250 per day

Role Purpose

Responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations across multiple payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery while leading a payroll team and maintaining strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple payrolls (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) across entities or jurisdictions
  • Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments
  • Ensure payrolls are processed and paid accurately and on time
  • Maintain compliance with tax, pension, and employment legislation
  • Oversee statutory filings and year-end payroll reporting
  • Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and support month-end processes
