Temporary Payroll Officer | Immediate Start

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-regarded organisation on a temporary basis. This role will suit someone confident managing payroll end-to-end and comfortable stepping into a fast-paced environment.

The Role Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • End-to-end payroll processing
  • Interpreting awards, EBAs, and employment contracts
  • Managing payroll queries with a high level of professionalism
  • Processing leave, terminations, and adjustments
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation
  • Supporting reporting and payroll reconciliations as required
  • About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Payroll Officer position, 2-3 years
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
  • Experience using payroll systems such as [ADP / Chris / SAP Success Factors / MYOB / Xero / Kronos]
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator who can work autonomously
