Overview of the Role
The Payroll Specialist ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, handles complex payroll matters, and stays up to date with Australian payroll regulations. They collaborate with Finance teams and help maintain a payroll knowledge base to support process improvements.
Main duties include
- Serve as the primary support contact for payroll system inquiries
- Efficiently triage and prioritize payroll support
- Compile exact monthly payroll reports in line with local compliance mandates and organizational needs.
- Attend to complex payroll matters, such as leave calculations, LSL and exit calculations where team members move on from the business.
