Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for an immediate short-term contract opportunity. This role requires hands-on payroll support in a busy environment and is ideal for someone comfortable stepping in quickly and working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Processing bi-weekly payroll using Dayforce (Ceridian)
  • Preparing and processing T4s during the February reporting period
  • Ensuring compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and statutory remittances
  • Managing payroll reconciliations and reporting
  • Reviewing and administering employee benefits through Sun Life
  • Supporting payroll audits and responding to payroll-related inquiries
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation

About You

  • Hands-on experience with Dayforce Ceridian
