Overview

Job Overview: We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for our client's service-based team, including hourly staff, commission-based providers, and employees receiving tips. This role is crucial to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for hourly staff, commission earners, and tip-based employees on a regular schedule (biweekly).
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee and payroll records.
• Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, deductions, and tip reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of US payroll processing experience.
• Experience with Booker and Gusto platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, including handling tips and commission-based pay.
