Essential Job Functions
Supervise and direct payroll staff of two to process bi-weekly paychecks for all employees.Ensure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc. is accurate and timely.Perform the final payroll audit on all domestic bi-weekly payrolls.Process the bi-weekly Canadian payroll.Ensure that the Crane Companies maintain payroll tax compliance.Research and resolve routine tax notices received from agencies.Review and analyze current payroll and tax procedures to recommend process improvements.Create and disperse audit reports as requested by management.Perform frequent audits to ensure employees are being taxed and paid accurately.Lead and assist with large-scale projects and implementations of new processes and procedures.Coordinate with Benefits, HR, Technology, Tax, and Accounting teams as neces...
