Payroll Supervisor

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join a municipal organization on an 18‑month full‑time term , with a high likelihood of conversion . This role is responsible for leading day‑to‑day payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining full compliance with applicable legislation, collective agreements, and internal policies.

The successful candidate will oversee bi‑weekly payroll processing, maintain well‑organized payroll records, and support financial reconciliation activities including T‑slips, EI rebates, and WCB assessments. This position also plays a key role in continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies, supporting payroll system upgrades (PeopleSoft and JDE), and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance procedures and system performance.
