Key Responsibilities (Strategy & Config)

  • Compensation Cycles: Configure and launch the Annual Merit and Bonus process using Advanced Compensation grids.
  • Time & Absence Rules: Design complex accrual calculations and time entry validations (e.G., California meal break penalties).
  • Payroll Optimization: Partner with the Payroll Manager to configure new Earnings/Deductions codes and tax mappings.

L2 Support & Operational Activities (Daily Run)

  • Payroll Critical Care: Troubleshoot and resolve red errors during the payroll calculation window (e.G., retro-processing failures, negative net pay blocks).
  • Time Entry Fixes: Manually correct stuck time sheets or submitted but not approved time cards to ensure payroll cutoff is met.
