Job Title: PCB DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled PCB Designer to layout PCB designs using Cadence tools and associated software. The role involves designing layouts for standard and dense, high-speed, multi-layer boards, performing proper dimensioning, and designing standard parts. You will also be responsible for preparing and processing basic engineering changes to existing drawings and creating engineering documentation, including CAD modeling, fabrication, and drawings. Additionally, you will resolve moderately complex design issues by providing consultation and support to engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Layout PCB designs using Cadence tools and associated software.
  • Design layouts for standard and dense, high-speed, multi-layer boards.
  • Perform proper dimensioning and design of standard parts.
  • Prepare and process basic engineering changes to existing drawings.
  • Create engineering documentation, including CAD modeling, fabrication, and drawings.
  • Resolve moderately complex design issues by providing consultation and support to engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing.
  • Essential Skills
  • Experience with PCB design using Cadence tools.
  • Familiarity with IPC-4101, IPC-6012, and related standards.
  • Associates degree in Engineering CAD Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $950000.00/yr.

    PTO, Profit sharing, Paid training, 401K match.

    This is a fully remote position.
