PCN Pharmacy Technician - Maternity Cover

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care Network on a fixed term maternity cover, supporting our 4 GP practices across the Wimborne & Ferndown area.

The successful candidate will work as part of our Network Pharmacy Team which consists of 3 Clinical Pharmacists and 5 Pharmacy Technicians who are supported by the GP Clinical Lead. Our new Technician will work with the team to optimise the systems and processes in place and to resolve prescription related issues.

The clinical pharmacy in general practice model is supported by the direction of national policy where there is a need to better utilise the role of pharmacy professionals within primary care to pro-actively help patients stay safe as well as helping to reduce the demands on general practice.
