Pearling Information Officer

Paspaley Pearling Company is Australia's largest pearl producer and operates throughout the beautiful northwest coast of Australia. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented team player to join our Darwin-based Pearl Production team as a Pearling Information Officer.

Working in this role you will have extensive exposure to the entire pearl production process - from fishing, farming and operations, through to pearl harvest and you will play a key role in maintaining the pearl production stock systems. Throughout your employment you will have to opportunity to learn about diverse topics, including aquaculture, wild fisheries and IT development.

Your role:

• Provide consistent data input and validation for stock control and compliance of pearling production.

• Provide skippers, farm managers and office-based management a clear first point of contact for basic technical and stock control-related queries.
