Seeking BC/BE Pediatricians to join our patient-focused Pediatric Hospitalist team at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Boise, ID. This role offers a supportive environment with close collaboration across a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional inpatient pediatric care. Our Pediatric Hospitalists work closely with Pediatrics clinics throughout the Treasure Valley and with the Hospitalist program in Twin Falls. What to Expect:
* Caring for inpatient pediatric patients within a dedicated pediatric unit with specialty trained pediatric nurses, normal newborn exams, consults for the emergency department or other teams as needed, and ongoing medical education of both residents and medical students
* Idaho’s only Children’s Hospital, serving a vast regional network
* Part of a 50-bed pediatric facility within a 388-bed tertiary care hospital
* Access to 18 pediatric specialty practices, Level 4 NICU, PICU, and Level 2 pediatric trauma center
* Attending deliveries is not required as there is an on-site NICU
* Pediatric subspecialty care is available through the associated Children’s hospital and includes most pediatric subspecialties
* Call is from home and the schedule offers excellent work/life balance as well as high degree of predictability
* There is ample opportunity for involvement in system-level quality improvement projects and leadership activities
Qualifications:
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Board-certified or board-eligible
* Eligible for medical licensure in Idaho
