Job Description
A long-term Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support in an elementary school setting, covering a leave of absence from January through the end of the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, primarily in grades 3 through 5, including both speech-only and self-contained groups.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students within general and special education classrooms.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
- Collaborate closely with a team of three SLPs within the district to ensure cohesive support and shared strategies.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
