Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to work with a middle school caseload at a school in New Castle, DE. This contract position begins approximately on April 14, 2026, and continues through the end of the school year on June 16, 2026, with the option for summer work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech-language evaluations and therapy for middle school students
  • Collaborating with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress
  • Applying evidence-based practices to support communication development

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare settings
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred
  • Ability to manage a middle school caseload with diverse speech and language needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
