Pega Senior System Architect

Position Summary

Rules Cube is growing! We are looking for talented Pega Lead/Senior System Architects to join our team. In this role, you’ll help ensure that system architectures are functional, robust and scalable within the context of a client enterprise.

Work location: Latin America (including Peru, Mexico, Brazil). Opportunities across LATAM with potential for remote work depending on the client and project. Must have authorization to work in LATAM.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.
• Provide architecture and design guidance to project teams developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega.
• Provide thought‑leadership to clients across business and technical project dimensions, solving complex business requirements.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the PRPC Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features.
• Work in conjunction with Program Manager to size, manage scope and risk.
• Ensure the business and technical architecture of delivered solutions matches customer technical and functional requirements, committing to Customer Success.
• Participate in the development of additional consulting opportunities within the customer base.

Required Experience / Skills

• Hands‑on, collaborative experience with technical architects, business users and engineers.
• 5+ years’ experience building and implementing model‑driven, enterprise‑level business solutions and applications.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Object‑Oriented techniques and principles.
• Exposure to a variety of technologies including WebSphere, WebLogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .NET, Oracle, DB2 and MS SQL.
• Key role in delivering functional, robust, scalable system architectures.
• Partnered with clients ensuring requirements aligned with delivered solutions.
• Provided technical training and user support to technical and business groups.

Education & Pega Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Senior System Architect (PCSSA).
• Lead System Architect (CLSA).
• Decisioning Consultant (PCDC) – nice‑to‑have.
• Marketing Consultant (PCMC) – nice‑to‑have.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Ability to travel to client sites 50‑75% of the time as required.
