Position Description

Works independently under limited supervision to manage and support Pega Platform applications in a production environment. The role involves handling application incidents, monitoring system performance, ensuring platform stability, and supporting deployments and releases. This is a second-level support role with direct impact on application availability, reliability, and business continuity.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Provide L2/L3 production support for Pega Platform applications in a live production environment.

Monitor application logs, alerts, and system health to ensure platform stability and optimal performance.

Handle incident management, including issue analysis, resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of preventive measures.

Support deployments, upgrades, patches, and hotfixes, ensuring smooth release coordination.

Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams during releases and production issues.

Perform performance monitoring and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve system efficiency.

Maintain operational documentation and follow ITIL-based support processes.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends, as part of production support coverage.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

2+ years of experience in Pega Production Support (L2/L3).

Strong hands-on experience with Pega Platform applications in production environments.

Database exposure to Oracle / PostgreSQL / SQL Server.

Experience in incident management, RCA, and preventive action planning.

Knowledge of monitoring tools, log analysis, and alert management.

Understanding of deployment and release management processes.
