The opportunity
We are looking for a Manager with expertise in delivering HR Mergers and Acquisitions / HR Transactions Projects to join the People Consulting team. Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the HR Transactions PMO by overseeing project governance, managing milestone tracking, coordinating with global stakeholders, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across HR Transactions emphasizing on post-merger integrations, spin-offs and carve-outsLead and support end-to-end delivery for global transaction assignments across multiple time-zonesManage and grow the HR M&A consulting services capability within the business, develop strong relations with global practicesSupport account teams in expanding existing client relationships through cross-selling and upselling of related servicesAchieve metrics on productivity, utilization, headcount growth and penetration for the teamSupport leadership in developing/growing the practice, support in demand generation for learning projects in collaboration with EY global offices, and contribute to global thought leadership on EY’s service offeringsDrive proposal development, client pursuits, and RFP responses in collaboration with global teams, contributing to business growth and strategic positioning People Counsellorship:
Perform role of counsellor and coach, define and set goals, conduct performance reviews and ensure continuous learning and development of the teamImplement strong people practices and policies; provide counselling support to individuals in the team for their learning and development, performance management and career growthLead and support direct reports to enable and motivate them to achieve their individual goals Skills and attributes for success:

11 - 14 years of experience in Human Capital and HR Transactions ConsultingConversant with at least two full HR M&A lifecycle engagements, covering planning, execution, monitoring, and closureStrong understanding of the HR landscape, including total rewards, compensation structures, country-specific compliance, organization design, and transactions’ change management principlesKnowledge of the legal and regulatory environment relating to employee rewards and reporting related to broad based compensation and benefitsUnderstanding and experience of the full life cycle of Human Resources functionExperience in review and analysis of current scenarios and underlying assumptionsAbility to report potential key issues to Buyer including identification of future risk factorsExperience in providing timely and effective reporting of findings and post deal concernsAbility to identify possible approach post-merger or acquisitionProject management skillsMaster’s or MBA degree in HR or similarExperience of working in a consulting environment on global client projectsGood understanding of data and talent management tools such as Workday and SAP SuccessFactorsDemonstrated leadership capabilities of collaboration across boundaries and working in highly matrixed, ambiguous and challenging situationsStrong data-analytics, Excel and Power BI skillsProficiency in leveraging technology — including AI and data analytics Good to have:
Experience in areas of Culture, Actuarial and Equity knowledge along with Total reward (compensation and benefits), workforce talent & Unions. International knowledge of mergers and acquisitions will be an added advantageKnowledge of supporting HR Due Diligence assignmentsExperience of working with consulting firmsCertified Protection Professional (CPP)/Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications will be an added advantage What working at EY offers
