People Operations Communications Specialist Location: Mexico (100% Remote) Work Schedule: EST Industry: Technology / Software Role Overview We are seeking a People Operations Communications Specialist to support a U.S.-based technology organization by owning internal people communications and serving as a key point of contact for employees. This role focuses on ensuring clear, timely, and consistent communication across People Operations initiatives while helping maintain a positive and well-supported remote employee experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, comfortable working with distributed teams, and experienced in supporting employees across multiple regions and time zones. Key Responsibilities Act as a primary point of contact for employees regarding People Operations communications, policies, and general inquiries. Draft, review, and distribute internal communications related to benefits, policies, performance cycles, organizational updates, and people-related initiatives. Coordinate communication between People Operations, managers, leadership, and employees to ensure alignment and clarity. Proactively check in with employees to identify concerns, questions, or engagement risks and escalate when appropriate. Support change management communications related to new processes, tools, or organizational updates. Maintain and update internal documentation, FAQs, and people-related knowledge bases. Ensure consistent messaging across communication channels (Slack, email, internal portals, meetings). Support sensitive communications with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Required Experience & Skills 3 years of experience in People Operations, HR Communications, Internal Communications, or Employee Experience roles. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (professional fluency required). Experience working with remote, distributed teams, preferably in a technology environment. High level of emotional intelligence, discretion, and professionalism. Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Comfort working U.S. business hours from a LATAM location. Nice to Have Experience supporting U.S.-based companies from LATAM. Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, or similar). Experience working in fast-paced or scaling tech organizations. Basic understanding of U.S. employment practices and benefits.
