We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically strong Performance Attribution, Analytics & Benchmarks Operations Analyst to support investment performance reporting across multi-asset portfolios. This is a high-impact back-office role working closely with Portfolio Managers, Risk, Accounting, and Data teams to ensure accurate, explainable, and trusted performance results.

🔍 Role Overview

The role focuses on performance measurement, attribution analysis, benchmark management, and data reconciliation. You will be responsible for explaining portfolio performance versus benchmarks and supporting client, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and validate portfolio and benchmark performance across equities, fixed income, and multi-asset portfolios
  • Perform Brinson-Fachler and factor-based attribution analysis
  • Analyze and explain portfolio over/under-performance versus benchmarks
  • Maintain and validate benchmark compositions and index data (MSCI, FTSE, Bloomberg, S&P, etc.)
  • Reconcile performance across accounting, custodian, risk, and performance systems
  • Support derivatives, FX, and overlay strategy attribution
  • Prepare performance and attribution reports for PMs, CIOs, Risk, and Clients
  • Provide clear performance commentary and support audits and regulatory requests

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–7+ years of experience in Performance Measurement / Attribution / Investment Operations
  • Strong understanding of portfolio return methodologies and attribution techniques
  • Experience with benchmarks, FX, derivatives, and multi-asset portfolios
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as FactSet, MSCI, Barra, Bloomberg, Aladdin, Eagle, or similar
  • Advanced Excel skills; SQL, Python, or Power BI is a strong plus
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
