Surge Lion Media is a growth-focused paid media agency working with D2C brands across India and globally. We specialize in performance ads, creative strategy, social media content, and CRO-driven design. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer Intern who wants real exposure to high-performance design—not just aesthetic work.


Role Overview

As a Graphic Designer Intern, you’ll work closely with our creative strategists, media buyers, and social media team to design Meta ad creatives, social media posts, and performance-driven visual assets. This is a hands-on role with real campaigns, real brands, and real learning.


This internship is unpaid for 3 months, followed by a paid full-time opportunity based on performance.


Key Responsibilities
Design & Creative Execution
  • Design Meta ad creatives (statics, carousels, story formats)
  • Create social media creatives for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Adapt UGC content into ad-ready visual formats
  • Maintain brand consistency across all creatives


AI & Tools
  • Use AI tools like ChatGPT, Nanobanana (or similar), Canva, and design automation tools
  • Assist in creating creative variations quickly using AI workflows
  • Stay updated with new AI tools for design and content


Collaboration & Learning
  • Work with creative strategists to understand ad angles and hooks
  • Implement feedback quickly and iterate creatives based on performance
  • Learn how performance marketing influences design decisions


Who You’re a Good Fit If
  • You have a strong interest in performance design & paid ads
  • You understand what works on Meta ads and social media
  • You have a basic-to-good design sense and are eager to improve
  • You’re curious about AI tools and automation in design
  • You’re disciplined, open to feedback, and ready to learn fast


Tools You’ll Work With
  • Canva, Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
  • AI tools like ChatGPT, Nanobanana, MidJourney (or equivalents)
  • Meta ad creative formats & guidelines


Internship & Conversion
  • Internship: 3 months (Unpaid)
  • Conversion: Paid full-time role based on performance, skill growth, and consistency
