Performance Engineering Manager

Nuevosol is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager, Performance Engineering to lead the performance modeling and capacity testing of solar and storage project portfolio. This role requires advanced technical expertise in energy modeling and performance assessment, as well as strong project management and leadership skills to guide the Performance Engineering team in optimizing energy production, supporting project development, and ensuring project viability.

Responsibilities:

Performance Modeling and Analysis:

• Oversee the selection of data inputs and evaluation of solar energy production outputs using performance modeling software, including PVSyst and SAM.

• Analyze weather resources, soiling, and snow loss profiles based on project design and geographical location to optimize energy production forecasts.
