Manager - Performance & Marketing Technology


Work Location: Mumbai


Reporting to: Head – Marketing


About the Role:

This role brings technical depth, operational discipline, and outcome orientation to Rynox’s performance marketing and marketing technology ecosystem.

You will shape how performance marketing  and marketing technology initiatives are structured, deployed, monitored and evaluated across platforms such as websites, marketplaces and exclusive retail stores, while working closely with leadership on commercial calibration and prioritisation.

Execution may be supported by agencies and vendors, while responsibility for outcomes and effectiveness sits within this role.


Role Mandate:

To lead the technical and operational aspects of performance marketing and marketing technology; ensuring that initiatives across websites, marketplaces and retail touchpoints are structured, monitored and optimised to drive measurable business results.


What You’ll Work On

Performance Marketing and Growth

  • Own the deployment, optimisation and monitoring of performance marketing initiatives across search, social, marketplaces, local advertising and retail-linked platforms.
  • Take day-to-day tactical decisions on campaign direction and prioritisation based on performance signals, inventory realities and customer intent.
  • Ensure all performance initiatives meet or exceed prescribed efficiency and revenue targets.
  • Plan and execute hyperlocal, performance-driven digital initiatives to support footfall and conversion at Rynox Exclusive Stores.
  • Structure performance marketing initiatives across brand, category, product and seasonal lenses, while addressing customers at different stages of their consideration and purchase journey.


Website Optimisation & On-site Performance

  • Drive optimisation of on-site performance through thoughtful structuring of landing pages, navigation flows and conversion pathways.
  • Identify and address friction points across the customer journey on Rynox-owned digital properties.
  • Ensure strong alignment between traffic acquisition efforts and on-site experience to maximise conversion effectiveness.


Marketing & E-commerce Technology

  • Lead the evaluation, onboarding and deployment of marketing technology and e-commerce-related tools, plugins and platforms.
  • Act as the project lead for initiatives such as omnichannel integrations, tracking enhancements and website capability upgrades.
  • Identify, evaluate, and deploy AI-led tools and automation across Rynox’s digital properties to improve product discovery, customer support, conversion journeys, and overall customer experience.


Agency & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the central point of engagement for performance marketing, CRO, SEO, marketplace and marketing technology partners.
  • Brief agencies clearly, evaluate their recommendations critically and guide execution through well-defined objectives.
  • Operate confidently in structured, jargon-heavy performance marketing environments and manage partners as informed counterparts.


Measurement, Attribution & Budget Judgement

  • Track and review performance data across platforms with technical rigour on MTD and YTD bases.
  • Evaluate performance impact beyond platform-reported metrics and question attribution assumptions when required.
  • Provide informed inputs on budget allocation, phasing and diminishing returns across channels.
  • Escalate strategic trade-offs or structural constraints to leadership when necessary.


How You’ll Work

  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy within defined strategic guardrails.
  • Combine deep technical fluency with a strong understanding of the motorcycling category, product use-cases and customer behaviour.
  • Work closely with business and marketing teams to ensure alignment of intent and outcome.

  • Increased confidence in performance data, platform decisions and agency outputs.
  • Emerging marketing technologies being actively leveraged to automate processes, improve customer experience, and optimise performance outcomes.


Prior Experience

  • Demonstrated accountability for performance marketing against defined efficiency or revenue targets.
  • Experience may come from either a brand or agency environment, provided there is clear responsibility for results.
  • Depth in some performance platforms is expected, with the ability to apply performance logics across channels and systems.



Educational Background

  • Educational background is less important than technical depth, clarity of thinking and demonstrated performance ownership.
