At Near, we connect top talent in Latin America with exciting remote opportunities at U.S.-based and global companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.

About the Company

  • Our client is an innovative performance marketing company specializing in data-driven media activation across channels. They help brands optimize their digital investments through deep analytics, experimentation, and automation. They work as a global, fully-remote team, transforming how performance marketing is executed and driving measurable impact for a diverse portfolio of clients.

About the Role

  • We’re looking for a Performance Optimization Manager (Paid Search) who lives and breathes Google Ads. You’ll manage and optimize paid search and related campaigns with a strong focus on leads and sales generation. You will work within a structured Performance department alongside planners and strategists who build the media plans, while you focus on flawless execution, ongoing optimization, and clear reporting. This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about SEM and performance marketing.

You Will

  • Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns in Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, and other available formats) focused on performance KPIs (leads, sales, conversions).
  • Execute campaigns based on media plans prepared by the Strategy & Planning team — your core responsibility is hands-on execution, not strategy creation.
  • Monitor performance daily, analyze results, and implement data-driven optimizations to improve KPIs and hit client goals.
  • Use Google Analytics 4 (and other analytics tools) to track results, understand user behavior, and generate actionable insights.
  • Prepare and maintain performance reports and dashboards, ensuring stakeholders have clear and accurate visibility into results.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Performance, Strategy & Planning, and Client Service) to align on objectives, performance, and next steps.
  • Manage multiple accounts/clients simultaneously (typically up to ~5 accounts per person).
  • Potentially provide guidance to junior team members where relevant.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of real, hands-on experience in Paid Search/SEM campaign management.
  • Strong expertise in Google Ads, across main campaign types (Search, Performance Max, etc.).
  • Agency experience is mandatory (minimum 6–12 months), with exposure to multiple industries and client types.
  • Demonstrated experience running performance-focused campaigns (lead generation, sales, and other conversion goals).
  • Comfortable working with campaign budgets from ~$5,000 USD per client and managing several accounts in parallel.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics 4 for measurement and reporting.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager is a strong plus.
  • English: B2 or above, able to communicate clearly in an English-speaking environment.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly execution-driven — you enjoy being deep in the platforms.
  • Collaborative and responsible, with strong ownership over campaign performance and delivery quality.

Nice to Have

  • Active Google Ads certifications.
  • Experience with additional performance platforms (e.g., Microsoft Ads) or complementary channels.
  • Prior exposure to mentoring or supporting junior performance specialists.
  • Experience with ecommerce, B2B lead gen, or other performance-heavy verticals.
  • Benefits (offered directly by AI Digital):
  • Contractor agreement.
  • 30+ days of paid time off (annual leave + sick days, per company policy).
  • Fully remote role, work from anywhere within LATAM (and selected EMEA markets depending on client policy).
  • Learning-focused environment and clear growth opportunities within the Performance department.
