<p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote (India)<br><strong>Time Zone: </strong>Supporting <strong>CET (Central European Time)</strong></p><h3><strong>Role Overview</strong></h3><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>Performance Test Architect / Performance Testing Lead</strong>to own and drive the <strong>SAP performance testing strategy</strong>for a large-scale enterprise environment. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in <strong>SAP performance engineering</strong>, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work across <strong>multiple teams and global time zones</strong>.</p><p>You will be responsible for defining, executing, and governing end-to-end performance testing across SAP landscapes while working closely with customer PMO, technical teams, and business stakeholders.</p><hr><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Define, manage, and implement the <strong>SAP Performance Testing strategy</strong>across multiple teams and geographies</p></li><li><p>Lead performance testing initiatives across complex SAP landscapes and integrations</p></li><li><p>Design and execute <strong>realistic load, stress, endurance, and volume tests</strong>based on business-critical processes</p></li><li><p>Analyze <strong>end-to-end SAP processes</strong>to determine suitability and approach for performance testing</p></li><li><p>Create performance test models based on <strong>customer data volumes, user concurrency, and business scenarios</strong></p></li><li><p>Plan, schedule, and coordinate performance test execution across <strong>global teams and time zones</strong></p></li><li><p>Conduct <strong>single-user performance tests</strong>including interfaces, batch jobs, data extracts, and background jobs</p></li><li><p>Monitor, analyze, and interpret performance test results; identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities</p></li><li><p>Produce clear and actionable <strong>performance test reports and dashboards</strong>for stakeholders and PMO</p></li><li><p>Communicate performance risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to customer leadership</p></li><li><p>Manage stakeholder expectations regarding <strong>scope, timelines, and performance outcomes</strong></p></li><li><p>Support SAP <strong>SDLC and SAP Activate methodology</strong>with performance testing best practices</p></li><li><p>Actively participate in <strong>issue triage, root cause analysis, and de-escalation scenarios</strong></p></li><li><p>Facilitate workshops and technical discussions with cross-functional teams</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></h2><ul><li><p><strong>8+ <span>years </span></strong><span>of</span> overall performance testing experience</p></li><li><p><strong>Minimum 5 years of SAP experience</strong>, including performance engineering in SAP environments</p></li><li><p>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>performance testing tools</strong>, including:</p><ul><li><p><strong>NeoLoad</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>LoadRunner</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>JMeter</strong></p></li></ul></li><li><p><strong>3+ years of experience</strong>with SAP technologies such as:</p><ul><li><p>SAP <strong>HANA</strong></p></li><li><p>SAP <strong>Fiori</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>OpenText</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>NetWeaver</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)</strong></p></li><li><p>SAP <strong>Web UI</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>SAP Personas</strong></p></li></ul></li><li><p>Strong understanding of <strong>SAP architecture and integrations</strong></p></li><li><p>Proven experience working in <strong>global delivery models</strong></p></li><li><p>Deep knowledge of <strong>performance testing methodologies, metrics, and KPIs</strong></p></li><li><p>Experience working within <strong>SAP Activate methodology</strong>and SDLC frameworks</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Soft Skills & Leadership Capabilities</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences</p></li><li><p>Strong facilitation skills for workshops and requirement-gathering sessions</p></li><li><p>Proven experience handling <strong>conflicting schedules and priorities</strong>across global teams</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience in <strong>issue management and de-escalation</strong></p></li><li><p>Ability to set boundaries and manage <strong>customer expectations vs scope</strong></p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Nice to Have</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Experience supporting <strong>large enterprise or global SAP rollouts</strong></p></li><li><p>Exposure to <strong>non-SAP performance testing environments</strong></p></li><li><p>Prior experience working with European clients or CET-aligned projects</p></li></ul>
