What You'll Do
Collaborate with other teams who are responsible for software engineering Collaborate with other testing teams for knowledge sharing and technology unification Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines Report bugs/errors discovered per standardized tools and processes Support Testing and quality activities within Agile delivery Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
What You Know
A minimum of 8+ years of proven professional experience is required. Should have 3-5 years' experience in the following technical areas; Microservice development experience, Java/J2EE performance tuning, DB performance tuning, Garbage collection and Heap analysis. Must have flexibility to coordinate and support during onshore hour if needed. Good knowledge of Jmeter 4.0, Blazemeter, Postman and LoadRunner tools and able to create complex test scenarios. Should have knowledge of some monitoring tools, like Graphana, AppDynamics, Datadog etc. Proficient in designing Performance Test Scripts (UI and API) for enterprise applications based on Requirements using Jmeter/BlazeMeter Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities and Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability. Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts and own quality perspectives for the design. Work efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis. Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes. Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detailed status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues. Able to handle Performance testing life cycle tasks independently. Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, and Network usage, Garbage Collection, DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications. Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance Experience identifying bottlenecks across various layers of application stacks. Experience using code profilers and analyzing profiling snapshots. Work efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis. Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes. Plan and execute performance tests using an automated testing environment and conduct analysis of results. Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts and own quality perspectives for the design. Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks. Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability. Experience in service-oriented architecture, and RESTful APIs. Strong knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience
