Performance Test Engineer

Job Title: Performance Test Engineer (JMeter)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure application stability, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter
• Conduct Load, Stress, Endurance, and Spike testing
• Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations
• Monitor application performance using logs, graphs, and reports
• Work closely with development and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues
• Prepare detailed performance test reports and share insights with stakeholders
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (if applicable)
• Ensure system performance meets SLAs and business requirements

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter
• Good understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies
• Experience in testing Web applications, APIs, and Microservices
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, TCP protocols
• Experience with SQL queries for data validation
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands
• Ability to analyze JVM, application, and server metrics

Good to Have:

• Experience with BlazeMeter / LoadRunner / Gatling
• Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP
• Knowledge of Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, Dynatrace)
• Scripting knowledge (Groovy, Java, or Python)
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git
