Role : Performance Tester (Locust + Python)
Experience Range : 7-10 years
Location of Requirement: Hyderabad
Job Description :
Required Technical Skill Set** -
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans using Locust and Python-based frameworks.
- Simulate real-world load models based on production metrics and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
- Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks across APIs, databases, and UI layers.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and Dev Ops teams to optimize system performance and scalability.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
- Generate detailed performance reports, summarizing findings, metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the test automation strategy by reusing and extending existing test scripts for performance validation.
Must have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Locust, or Gatling.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and data-driven test design.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of APM tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog) for root cause analysis.
- Experience integrating performance tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI).
