  • Board-eligible or board-certified Med-Peds or Internal Medicine nocturnist position at a community hospital in eastern North Carolina

  • Experienced providers only, joining an established, high-quality hospitalist program

  • Employed by a large regional physician group

  • Hospitalist team includes 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider

  • Schedule options: three 14-hour shifts per week or six 14-hour shifts every other week

  • Average nightly admissions for the hospitalist service: approximately 6

  • Care for patients in a 9-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support from a tertiary medical center

  • ICU responsibilities include ventilator management, lumbar puncture, and central line placement

  • Fully integrated EPIC electronic health record

  • Broad specialty support, including general surgery, cardiology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterology, nephrology, ophthalmology, sleep medicine, speech therapy, and physical therapy
