Are you ready and looking for a sea change? We are seeking an ASAR accredited general senior sonographer to join our client’s expanding team in the coastal area south of Sydney, NSW on a permanent basis.

Our client is a well-established, independently owned radiology practice operating practices across NSW. The team are experienced and passionate providing a complete range of comprehensive radiology services to the surrounding communities.

A little about the role:

Our client is super keen to find a senior general sonographer to join their expanding team commencing before the end of 2020 or start of 2021 the choice is yours! You will have previous experience working across a variety of scans including utilising your exceptional knowledge to help support junior members of the team succeed in the same profession. You will have experience with GE and Philips machines or the ability to upskill and for variety they have all their team rostered across a couple of sites.

You will work alongside a supportive team of hands on, supportive doctors, sonographers and radiographers. The hours are flexible working across weekdays with some rostered Saturday shifts required.

The team are friendly and down to earth, they are into sport activities and active in the surf lifesaving community.Β

Duties you will be responsible for:

  • Perform high quality broad scan skill set.
  • Safely operate machinery, computers and perform daily duties.
  • Previous Philips and GE experience advantageous, however, full training will be provided.
  • Ability to be flexible to work across two sites as rostered.
  • Be able to provide support and guide junior team members including a trainee.
  • Provide a high level of patient care at all times.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with staff and patients.
  • Skills and Experience:

  • ASAR Registration.
  • Broad Range of scanning skills required.
  • Previous experience with GE machines advantageous.
  • Appropriate working rights for Australia.
