Permit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permit Controller to join our dynamic team in Stevenage. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting the Capital Projects team in the management of contractor activities by issuing General and Supplemental Permit to work, and to support monitoring of contractors on projects.

• To fulfil the role of General Permit Issuer, and Supplemental Permit Issuer as defined in VQD-SOP-
• Fulfil responsibilities of the System modifier VQD-SOP- Fire System Management Program communication of potential fire system impairment
• To manage project EHS risks during project delivery (Demolition, construction)
• To Provide support for EHS Audits
• Contractor Competency assurance
• Management of high-risk activities
• To ensure area hand backs are satisfactory to standards
