Personal Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Personal Assistant to provide support to an elderly based in the East Region. In this role, you must enjoy working with elderly folks and listening to their repetitive stories. You have a caring heart, nice personality, patient. No requirements for any nursing or medical related background.

What you'll be doing

1. You will bring him out for lunch on weekdays wherever he wish to go and have meals with him (your meals will be provided). You will bring him wherever he wish to go. Usual routine will be to go for walks in shopping malls, drinking tea, to the office for a short while, etc
2. Assisting with personal tasks like running errands, medical appointment, correspondence needed and regular daily activities
3. Identifying and suggesting ways to improve the quality of life and daily routine

What we're looking for

1. It will be advantageous if have a driver's license ( car provided)
2. Compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for the elderly as he can be forgetful. Generally, he is a jovial person.
3. Availability to work part-time hours, from 11.30am to 6pm on weekday, work will normally not exceed 7 hours on a weekday. Timing may be adjusted from time to time to start earlier generally for medical appointments
