Job Description

Gibson Arnold & Associates is seeking an attorney with 3+ years of experience to join a firm in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced in personal injury law and litigation. Responsibilities will include:


  • Assisting the Senior Litigation Attorney and litigation team in managing a docket of personal injury cases;

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents;

  • Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda to support litigation strategies;

  • Attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as directed;

  • Maintaining regular communication with clients, providing updates and gathering case information;

  • Participating in case strategy meetings and contributing to trial preparation;

  • Reviewing and analyzing medical records, accident reports, and other evidence;

  • Supporting the Senior Litigation Attorney in case management, calendaring, and deadline tracking;

  • Serving as back-up to the Senior Litigation Attorney in their absence, ensuring continuity in case handling and client communication;

  • Collaborating closely with paralegals, case managers, and other attorneys to ensure efficient case progression.
