PET CT Technologist

Performs ordered examinations of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted WMG practices and protocols. 

Maintains patient care, comfort and safety after FDG injection. 

Maintains technical competency through continued education. 

Under guidance and approval of the Radiologist, administers contrast agents and/or radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol. 

Completes and signs the patient screening form and review/explains the procedure to the patient. 

Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems: places service calls and notifies all pertinent team members. 

Maintains a clean environment in the hot lab, control and scan room. 

Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
