The primary duties of the Petroleum Engineer are to design, develop, supervise, monitor and optimize oil and gas extraction operations. This includes drilling, production, cost evaluation, reservoir management, well performance monitoring and optimization as well as operations optimization. The engineer will also be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations such as production planning and executing various surface operations including well testing and completion.
