Pharmacist

The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing, dispensing, and administering appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients in the MMU. The role requires executing physicians' orders accurately, providing advice and guidance to patients, and ensuring legal and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain the pharmacy for efficient identification and dispensing of medicines.
• Stock, label, and monitor medicines and other pharmaceutical products to prevent expiry or deterioration.
• Review and execute physicians' prescriptions, ensuring appropriateness and legality.
• Provide patient guidance, advice, and support on medicines and related health issues.
• Assist in other medical services, such as administering injections and measuring blood pressure or temperature.
