Pharmacy Finance Analyst – McLeod Pharmacy Services
Job Responsibilities:
Monitors and analyzes financial processes and operations related to Pharmacy and Oncology clinics.Prepares and analyzes reports for drug purchasing, billing and reimbursement as assigned.Prepares or directs preparation of periodic special analysis and reports.Reporting and analysis of Pharmacy financial operations for McLeod Health facilities and Oncology clinics as assigned.Assists the Pharmacy Department and Oncology clinics with vendor invoices and payments as needed.Works with representatives from other McLeod Health departments to monitor and maintain reports.Serves as financial resource for the Pharmacy Department, 340B Team, and Oncology clinics. Facilitates collaboration with the corporate Finance department when needed.Assists in ensuring accurate charge capture of Pharmacy and Oncology clinic drugs.Review daily charge reports as assigned; assist with resolution of missing or incorrect charges.Assists in configuring Pharmacy and Oncology CDMs with appropriate settings and algorithms.Audits script sales to cash, including Managed Care, HMO, Governmental, State, Client accounts and Self-Pay.Assists in monitoring, auditing, reporting and maintaining the McLeod Health 340B Program.Serves as liaison between McLeod Health, including McLeod Health Information Systems, and contracted vendors and consultants to ensure proper operation of interfaces between McLeod Health information systems and 340B software systems.Assists/Manages financially focused system projects related to 340B savings.Assists in other 340B-related projects as assigned.Assists with the Pharmacy/Oncology drug patient assistance program.Member of the Denial Revenue Cycle Committee.Maintains pharmacy drug issues list to direct team activities as needed.Coordinates with directors and other staff/departments as necessary to resolve denials issues.Work Schedule: 80 Hours Biweekly. Full Time.
Qualifications:
Experience and familiarity with pharmacy finance, 340B program, and patient billing.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Team building ability and organizational skills.Ability to work independently.Minimum of 2-5 years business experience.
