Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for retrieving medication from stock, counting and packaging orders for pharmacist review, maintaining workstations with adequate supplies, removing outdated products from shelves, and assisting with inventory replenishment. You will also process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification and maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.

Responsibilities





+ Process and fill prescription orders for pharmacist verification.



+ Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units.



+ Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions, including vials, caps, and labels.



+ Retrieve medication from stock and count and package orders for pharmacist review.



+ Remove outdated products from shelves.



+ Assist with inventory replenishment.





Essential Skills





+ Pharmacy technician certification



+ Washington State Pharmacy Technician License



+ CPhT





Additional Skills & Qualifications





+ Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience



+ National Pharmacy Technician Certification



+ Previous experience working in a mail order setting



+ Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite



+ Ability to lift up to 35 pounds



+ Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks





Work Environment

This role operates within a Monday through Friday schedule, between the hours of 6am-2:30pm PST, with the potential for overtime and Saturday work. The work environment involves standing for long periods with intermittent breaks. The attire is professional as you will be handling medication and interacting with healthcare professionals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bothell, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
