Job Description
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including specialty prescriptions related to gastroenterology treatments. Process prescription orders, verify insurance coverage, and manage prior authorizations. Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Support inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking expiration dates. Communicate with patients regarding medication instructions, refills, and insurance questions. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely and safe medication delivery. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and pharmacy compliance standards.
