The Pharmacy at the Cross Cancer Institute is an integral component of the facility. Pharmacy technicians, practicing within their full scope, perform all aspects of drug distribution to ensure the smooth operation of departmental services and programs, ultimately supporting safe and effective patient care.

Core duties may include, but are not limited to:

1. Order entry, preparation, repackaging, and final product checking of sterile and non-sterile products (including hazardous products), individual patient prescriptions, and ward stock.
2. Providing guidance to and assisting with the training and orientation of staff and students.
