Under the direction of the Director of Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, the Pharmacy Technician – Per Diem will support both the Adult and Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis (CF) programs by assisting with medication access, education, and patient support. This role ensures timely and effective pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary Cystic Fibrosis care team, with the goal of improving treatment adherence and patient outcomes. 

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

Facilitates prior authorizations, insurance claims, and specialty pharmacy coordination for Cystic Fibrosis-specific medications (e.g., CFTR modulators, inhaled antibiotics).
