Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn phlebotomy.
  • Ability to handle patients with care and compassion.
  • Keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Experience:
  • 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience (retail, home health aide, or similar).
  • Prior phlebotomy experience not required.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-ins using kiosks or handheld devices.
  • Answer patient questions and address concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional waiting area.
  • Assist with breaks and support other phlebotomists as needed.
  • Learn and perform phlebotomy skills during downtime or coverage needs.
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection once trained, following established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow confidentiality guidelines and organizational standards.
  • Promote a positive image with patients, clients, and staff.
  • Should Have:
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.
  • Willingness to grow into a clinical role.
  • Skills:
  • Customer service and communication.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Data entry and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to learn clinical procedures.
