Job Duties
+ Performs venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood specimens according to the Clinical laboratory Standards Institute guidelines.
+ Demonstrates expertise in patient identification, specimen collection, labeling, accessioning, and processing.
+ Exhibit strong problem solving skills.
+ Understands the criteria for specimen acceptability and rejection.
+ Functions effectively in a team environment.
+ Works under the leadership of Phlebotomist III, Preanalytical Specialist, Team Lead, Supervisor, or other Laboratory Leader and escalates issues accordingly....
