PHP & SQL Developer

This is a full-time, on-site role for a PHP & SQL Developer, located in Chennai. The PHP & SQL Developer will be responsible for writing efficient, testable, and high-quality PHP code, designing and developing database architecture using SQL, and optimizing performance for scalable applications. The role also includes debugging and troubleshooting software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams for system integration, and documenting technical specifications and code modifications.

• Proficiency in PHP, including object-oriented programming and PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Expertise in SQL and database management, with experience designing and optimizing relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Understanding of software development principles, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques for efficient code performance.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and RESTful API development is a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience can also be considered.
