Job Description

Objective:

As a PHP WordPress Backend Developer, you will get to design and implement attractive and functional websites. You will implement site integration and security updates along with themes and plugins.

As a PHP WordPress Backend Developer at Rage, you’ll get to:

  • Create user interfaces within WordPress for content authors.
  • Design and implement new features and functionalities.
  • Create custom WordPress themes and custom plugins from the scratch.
  • Conduct website performance tests.
  • Troubleshoot content issues.

    • Ideally, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 3-5 years of experience in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress
  • Expert in WordPress Core Backend and not as a frontend developer/user/author using WordPress.
  • Not a Off the shelf Theme Integrator
  • Should have developed custom theme from scratch for at-least 2 complex WordPress website.
  • Strong knowledge on PHP back-end development (LAMP/LNMP) stack, Core JavaScript, jQuery, DOM is a must requirement .
  • Experience with Elementor Pro PageBuilder, POD/ACF/CPTUI plugins is preferred.
  • Should have created DYNAMIC landing, listing and detail pages using Elementor Pro Page Builder
  • Experience in creating user interfaces for content authoring team within WordPress.
  • Should create custom plugins and themes and troubleshoot 3rd party plugins and themes.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap is value added.
  • Should know about performance optimisations techniques that can be applied at all levels of the application.
  • Should be in a position to address VA & PT issues and secure application with all possible options.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
