Job Description

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Physician Assistant for our cardiology department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic and inpatient cardiac patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Licensure Requirements

• Completion of an accredited graduate –level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.


• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e. Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.

Professional Experience Requirements:

• At least 2+ years experience as a PA in a cardiology setting

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Demonstrated clinical competency.


• Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients


• Strong interpersonal skills.


• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.


• Effective interaction and care of patients


• Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
