Job Description
- Previous experience as a Shawarma Cook or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of Middle Eastern cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and marinate meats according to traditional recipes and company standards.
- Cook shawarma on a rotating spit and slice it to perfection for service.
- Create and assemble shawarma wraps, platters, and other menu items with fresh ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to develop new recipes and enhance menu offerings.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and service consistency are upheld.
- Handle food inventory, including receiving and storing supplies properly.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and kitchen tools in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with patrons and handling special requests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitary standards.
